Implants
Implants are a false tooth with an artificial root that is surgically implanted into the gums. They can replace one or many teeth. In as little as three to six months, the artificial root fuses with the bone and the tooth will act as a natural tooth.
What Happens at an Appointment
The dentist will determine if you are a candidate for implants at a consultation. Financial options and a sedation plan can be discussed as well.
At the time of your implant, a local anesthetic will be administered. A 3D scan helps guide the doctors as they implant the root.
