We pride ourselves for making you feel as comfortable as you would in your own home. The moment you join our practice, you become part of our family!
It is important to have regular check-ups to ensure that you maintain a healthy smile. By maintaining a regular maintenance program, it allows the focus on your oral health to be on prevention rather than treatment. If treatment is needed, regular visits will allow us to detect it early, which reduces complexity and cost.
Do not hesitate if you start to feel symptoms or see ‘cavities’ in your mouth. Again, treating it early will lead to a better result with less complications.
The first visit is an important appointment where we will spend time getting to know you. You may also address any concerns with your oral health. We will also take a comprehensive medical history to ensure your safety. We will then diligently perform a comprehensive exam, where the information will give us a better understanding of the status of your oral health.
For children, a short appointment will be needed to introduce and familiarize them to the office, providing a pleasant experience. Our goal is have children love coming to the dentist. Time will also be taken to answer any concerns patients have about their children’s teeth and any general questions.
At BHDC, we are committed to providing you with the latest proven technology that is safe for your health and ours. Therefore, we promote a mercury-free environment for our patients and staff.
We achieve that by using composite fillings to repair any damages caused by cavities. It can also be used for:
- Chipped or broken tooth
- Worn off teeth
- Filling the gap between two teeth
At BHDC we strive to preserve your teeth and gums from dental caries and oral disease.
We do this by customizing a treatment plan best suited for your needs. This includes regular cleanings and dental check ups.
We will also provide you with resources on how to properly brush, floss and take care of your teeth. We will also give you our secrets on what to look for when buying a toothbrush, shopping for the right food and what symptoms you need to look out for to keep your teeth healthy.
RCT treats diseases and abscesses in the teeth and mouth. Inside the tooth is a soft tissue called the ‘pulp’. The pulp is crucial to the full growth and development of the tooth, as it contains blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. Once the tooth is fully developed, the tooth can survive without the pulp.
Unfortunately, sometimes the pulp gets inflamed or infected, and can cause excruciating pain:
- Pain while chewing
- Pain in ears or head
- Pain while lying down
- Severe pain while eating hot or cold foods/drinks
- Swelling of the gums surrounding the tooth
We have in-house certification for Nitrous and IV sedation to meet all your needs.
